For Sanada-fans, a familiar face from "The White Countess", the heroin Natasha Richardson died from a head injury she suffered while skiing earlier in the week. Natasha was 45.
For me personally, she was one of the very few movie stars that I ever met and interviewed, along with Sanada-san and Ralph Fiennes, so it is even more shocking. She was quite beautiful and elegant, even at the press conference table.
May her soul rest peacefully, and I pray for comfort to her surviving family members, including her husband Liam Neeson and her mother Vanessa Redgrave.
